CookWe are seeking a reliable and adaptable individual to join our culinary team as a Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines. You will step in as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and sanitation. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a passion for food.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks according to established recipes and dietary requirements.Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards for taste and presentation.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food and supplies.Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.Work with other school staff to ensure a safe and positive environment for students. Interact positively with students.Adapt to changing schedules and work environments.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a cooking role.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Flexibility to work as needed.Physical stamina to stand for periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Passion for cooking and creating nutritious meals.
